Terms and Conditions
AeroParts and Supply Southwest, Inc. — FAA Repair Station #6ERR311D
1. Scope of Work
All services follow Federal Aviation Administration regulations under 14 CFR Part 145. Work is strictly limited to the scope described in the applicable work order, estimate, or invoice. No additional services are implied unless expressly stated in writing.
2. Pricing and Payment Terms
Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. A late fee of 1.0% per month (12% annually) applies to past-due balances.
The Repair Station may withhold FAA Form 8130-3 (Authorized Release Certificate) or retain possession of parts until full payment is received. Customers agree to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorneys' fees and court expenses.
3. Warranty
Tire Changes: A 30-day limited warranty applies to labor only.
Overhaul Services: A 6-month or 600 landings (whichever occurs first) limited warranty covers labor performed by the Repair Station. Parts coverage is limited to original manufacturer warranties.
Warranty Conditions: Coverage applies only when components are installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover hard landings, misuse, improper installation, foreign object damage, failure to follow requirements, or unauthorized alterations.
Remedy: The Repair Station's sole obligation is re-performance of defective labor or facilitating manufacturer warranty claims.
4. Rush Services
Work designated as rush, expedited, or AOG service is provided AS-IS, WITH NO WARRANTY.
5. FAA Certification and Airworthiness Responsibility
The Repair Station certifies only the work performed as described in the FAA Form 8130-3 or maintenance release. Final airworthiness responsibility rests with the installing party, operator, or certificated mechanic.
6. Limitation of Liability
Total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for services or goods provided. The Repair Station is not liable for loss of use, revenue, downtime, or consequential damages.
7. Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify the Repair Station against claims arising from improper installation, customer actions, or conditions outside the work scope.
8. Storage, Possession, and Abandonment
The Repair Station may charge reasonable storage fees for uncollected items. Texas mechanic's lien rights apply to unpaid or abandoned property.
9. Parts Sales
All parts are sold as-is, subject only to manufacturer warranty if applicable. The Repair Station provides no additional warranties.
10. Acceptance of Terms
Accepting quotes, approving work, or paying invoices constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
11. Force Majeure
The Repair Station is not liable for delays caused by supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, weather, or government actions.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Texas law with exclusive venue in Dallas County.
